Bikers Dream of Atlanta started business in May of 1996.  Don and Marilyn Parkinson acquired the parts inventory of another shop that had closed and started servicing Harley Davidson motorcycles.  They sold used Harleys as well.  They were originally named “Star Spangled Scooters” but within a few months of being opened they took on their first custom motorcycle line, Ultra Motorcycles from California.

With the addition of the Ultra line came the opportunity to join a national group of dealers named Bikers Dream.  Don and Marilyn decided to retain the Bikers Dream name after other shops in the group were bought out or closed. 

Over the years Bikers Dream has carried several lines of custom motorcycles and has always been one of the top dealers for the brands they carry.  Their most prominent brands being American IronHorse, Big Dog, Indian, Bourget, and Swift.  During this time they have also continued to provide service and customization for Harley Davidson as well as other brands of motorcycles. 

Bikers Dream of Atlanta has been given several honors from the manufacturers they carry as well as being nominated to the “Top 100” of all powersport dealers for three years in a row.  They have been awarded top dealer for sales, service, and customer service.
